We believe in one, triune God:
We believe in God the Father, who created and reigns over the world in love and righteousness.
We believe in Jesus the Messiah, uncreated and coequal with the Father. Jesus came down from heaven and lived a perfect human life to display the full nature of God. He carried our sins and their consequences upon himself on the Cross, dying in our place that we might be reconciled to God. He rose again on the third day, the guarantor of eternal life to all who believe in him. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. Apart from relational knowledge of Jesus and faith in his Name, there is no path to salvation.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son to empower the Church to be the hands and feet of God in this world. He empowers a multitude of spiritual gifts in the Church, giving it power and authority over the hostile spiritual powers that oppose the Kingdom of God.
We believe that the Bible—the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament—was given to the Church by God through a multitude of human authors. It is inerrant in the original autographs, authoritative for Christian life, and sufficient for bringing the reader into experiential relationship with God Himself.
We believe that the Church, the dynamic family of God, consists of all those who know and trust in Jesus across time and space.
We believe that the local church is a necessary and indispensable manifestation of the Church, and useful for the building up of mature believers and the expansion of the Kingdom of God into local communities.
